Yesterday marked the 25th Anniversary of Weird Al’s exceptional comedy masterwork, UHF!! Upon release, the movie drowned amongst a sea of iconic blockbusters like BATMAN, INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE, and LETHAL WEAPON 2.
Despite the disappointing showing in your initial run Al, we want you to know that we were fans from the very beginning. In fact, I saw UHF 5 times during its initial release.
Thankfully, UHF has garnered cult status through the years so now, all is good in the world.
In celebration of 25 glorious years, our website staff is going to watch UHF as we make our way to Comic-Con today.
