DIACAPRIO IS OUT FOR VENGEANCE…AND AN OSCAR!

Many of our favorite films have a handful of images and or sequences that leave an indelible impression on us as viewers.  Alejandro González Iñárritu’s THE REVENANT looks to be a film comprised of nothing but images and sequences that set out to leave an indelible impression on us.

This 1820’s-set tale of vengeance stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy and while it was said to be quite the grueling shoot, this official trailer goes a long way to suggest that this is going to be one of the most talked about films of the year.

To say that Iñárritu’s follow-up to the Oscar winning BIRDMAN looks positively breathtaking (it’s clear that Emmanuel Lubezki knows how to shoot a movie) would be a gross understatement. Have a look at the glorious trailer for yourself.

THE REVENANT, from 20th Century Fox, opens in limited release on Christmas Day with a wider roll out in January.
