WE’RE STILL IN 2015 BUT COULD “THE NICE GUYS” BE A CONTENTER FOR THE MOST ENTERTAINING MOVIE OF 2016?!

I’m going to come right out and say it; THE NICE GUYS will emerge as one of the most entertaining movies of 2016. I say this only having seen a few production stills and this glorious red band trailer.

Writer/director Shane Black was behind the grossly underappreciated KISS KISS, BANG BANG and the misunderstood IRON MAN 3, but he’s also responsible for penning the first LETHAL WEAPON. Some of you may also know him from his impressionable supporting performance as a grunt in John McTiernan’s PREDATOR.

THE NICE GUYS looks like a spirited noir flick. A lively fusion of KISS KISS, BANG BANG, PAYBACK, and INHERENT VICE. The rapport between stars Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling looks spot on awesome and there are far too many memorable moments in this trailer to list, so I’m not even going to try. Just have a look. Again though, this is a red band clip. You have been warned.

Warner Brothers Pictures will release Shane Black’s THE NICE GUYS on May 20th, 2016.
