Earlier this week at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Amazon hosted a special luncheon in an effort to showcase the arrival of their Amazon Studios. While some folks thought the upcoming distribution platform would start small, this new kid on the studio block was clearly on hand to suggest that they plan on jumping right into the deep end with an impressive slate of higher profile independent film titles.
With new movies from Woody Allen (CAFE SOCIETY), Todd Solondz (WIENER-DOG), Clay Tweel (GLEASON), and Kenneth Lonergan (MANCHESTER BY THE SEA), this studio is proving their worth right out of the starting gate. Also joining the Amazon Studios family for his next film is the great Nicolas Winding Refn whose hypnotic DRIVE made a big splash in 2011.
THE NEON DEMON looks to be a visually stunning character driven drama about ambition and success. Here’s a look at the synopsis:

Amazon Studios just debuted the trailer and it looks pretty damn great!
