PIXAR, EAT YOUR HEART OUT!

With SAUSAGE PARTY, Sony Pictures and crew look to be doing for Pixar and other popular CG animation what 20th Century Fox and team DEADPOOL did for superhero movies.

From the colorful folks who brought you SUPERBAD and THIS IS THE END comes the extremely R-rated CG animated movie, SAUSAGE PARTY. A film that features, among other things, Seth Rogen as a talking sausage and Kristen Wiig as a  bun that bares a faint resemblance to a certain part of the female anatomy.

In SAUSAGE PARTY, a group of popular food items learn the shocking truth about what happens after they’re purchased and taken into the homes of humans. It all looks to play like TOY STORY with edible things instead of play things and if this trailer is any indication,  expect hilarity on a monumental scale!

SXSW just hosted a work-in-progress screening of SAUSAGE PARTY and from what we’re hearing, the film delivers  laughs in a big way.  Be sure to keep this in mind, though: Just because this is an animated feature doesn’t mean you should take the kids. Please! Leave the little ones at home.

SAUSAGE PARTY hits theaters August 11th, 2016
