As most of you are already well aware, Pee-Wee Herman is about to make his long awaited return and this brand new trailer  for the upcoming Netflix release suggests that while the world has changed quite a bit since Herman first hit the big screen in Tim Burton’s PEE-WEE’S BIG ADVENTURE, Herman himself hasn’t changed at all.

This trailer hit all the right nostalgic buttons for me and perhaps the only thing that truly bums me out about this project is that it isn’t getting a theatrical release. Still, Pee-Wee Herman on the small screen is better than no Pee-Wee Herman at all.

PEE-WEE’S BIG HOLDAY (Sidenote: Much to my dismay, this is NOT a Christmas movie) makes its way to Netflix on March 18th, 2016. For those of you who get to see it on the big screen with a packed house during South By Southwest, I envy you.
