OSCARS 2018: ADAM, JOHN, AND ABBEY OFFER UP THEIR PREDICTIONS!

Article by Adam Mast
Predictions by Adam Mast, John Pugh, and Abbey Archer

The movie lover’s Super Bowl is upon us! I’m referring, of course, to The Academy Awards. While it is true that the Oscars are the very personification of “self-congratulatory,” it’s still such a fun show to watch! It should also be noted that The Academy Awards telecast is still the most eloquent and classy of awards shows.

And while Oscar certainly isn’t without its head-scratching moments (look no further than last year’s MOONLIGHT/LA LA LAND Best Picture debacle) it remains a must-watch for precisely these reasons. This is to say nothing of all the fashion, speeches, and hit-and-miss hosting choices.  And, of course, we as fans love to endlessly debate with one another and ridicule the Academy for all they get wrong when it comes to the nominations and winners because we as fans have all the answers, right?

The 2018 Academy Awards will air on Sunday, March 4th at 8 PM (PT). Jimmy Kimmel hosts for the second consecutive year.

Now, without further ado, here are our predictions. Word to the wise…You probably don’t want to count on us if you’re taking part in the office betting pool because we’d hate to be responsible for losing you any money.
