Chances are probably pretty good at this point that you’re using your Netflix account more than ever. There’s not much to do and not many places to go and so streaming has become an even bigger staple than before. But for those of us always looking for that next great movie, streaming services like Netflix remains a constant companion. As the revolving door of Netflix’s content continues to move, old content goes out as new content arrives on the platform. As such, you want to make sure that you’re keeping tabs on all the new stuff available this May.
This month there are some pretty great titles to check out on Netflix. For example, you can catch both Back to the Future and Back to the Future Part II–the perfect time to share those movies with younger family members who may not have had the chance yet. There are also some excellent dramas coming this month like Jarhead, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, The Patriot, and Public Enemies. The Lovebirds, starring Issa Rae and Kumail Nanjiani was previously slated for a theatrical release but is now getting a Netflix release later this month. But perhaps the biggest catch of all this month is the Netflix debut of one of last year’s best movies and (arguable) Oscar snub, Uncut Gems, starring Adam Sandler. If you haven’t checked it out, it’s well worth the time.

If you were a fan of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Black Mirror’s Bandersnatch, Netflix is releasing a new interactive special, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs. The Reverend for you to enjoy on May 12. Other notable seasons dropping include Grey’s Anatomy’s 16th season, Riverdale Season 4, and season 5 of the excellent She-Ra and the Princesses of Power.
