LOVING Movie Trailer

‘LOVING’ LOOKS LOVELY

Writer/director Jeff Nichols is back with another movie not but 3 1/2 months after his poetic MIDNIGHT SPECIAL unfairly tanked at the box-office. That poignant sci-fi/drama deserved a grander reception than it got but hopefully, it’ll find a new and improved life on Blu-ray and DVD.

Nichols’ LOVING looks to be a tender, heartfelt character drama about an interracial couple navigating their way through politically turbulent times. Ruth Negga looks absolutely superb in this but if this trailer is any indication, LOVING could very well prove to be the Joel Edgerton show. With each passing performance, this actor continues to up his game. LOVING earned substantial buzz after it premiered at The Cannes Film Festival last May and this trailer certainly appears to support that buzz.

Have a look for yourself and share your thoughts in the comments thread below.

SYNOPSIS:

“From acclaimed writer/director Jeff Nichols, “Loving” celebrates the real-life courage and commitment of an interracial couple, Richard and Mildred Loving (Joel Edgerton and Ruth Negga), who married and then spent the next nine years fighting for the right to live as a family in their hometown. Their civil rights case, Loving v. Virginia, went all the way to the Supreme Court, which in 1967 reaffirmed the very foundation of the right to marry – and their love story has become an inspiration to couples ever since.”

RELEASE DATE:

LOVING will be released into theaters on November 4th 2016!
