A brand new KUNG FU PANDA 3 trailer just dropped the other day and I have to say, I’m really looking forward to seeing this one! It should be noted though, that I’m a fan. As much as I enjoyed the first picture, I think I might have liked the second installment even more. It maintained the high energy and great sense of humor of its predecessor but coupled it with an edgy sensibility that really took me by surprise.
This all new look at KUNG FU PANDA 3 suggests a playful movie to be sure, but given that Po is reunited with his birth father here, I’m sure there will be plenty of drama to be found.
Bryan Cranston joins Jack Black and crew as the voice of Po’s long lost papa, Li. Talk about perfect casting. Based on this trailer, Cranston and Black’s rapport looks spot on.
If I have any sort of objection to this film, it’s the title. I wish the filmmakers behind KUNG FU PANDA 3 would have taken a page out of the James Cameron ALIENS playbook and called this entry KUNG FU PANDAS. After you watch the trailer, you’ll know precisely what I mean.
