ONE OF THE FASTEST GROWING CONS IN THE COUNTRY CONTINUES TO GET BETTER!

When it comes to fan conventions, we here at Cinemast.net are pretty spoiled. Given that we’ve been attending Comic-Con International in San Diego for the last 15 years, how could we not be. Alas, as crazy as it seems, there are actually other noteworthy Cons throughout the country and one of the fastest growing and most popular, is Salt Lake Comic Con.
In just three short years, Salt Lake Comic Con has grown tremendously. Perhaps they don’t present a lot in the way of upcoming movie footage, but they sure march out the talent! The 2015 Con saw appearances by Sean Astin, Anthony Daniels, Linda Blair, and Marvel heavy hitters Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie, Hayley Atwell, and Sebastian Stan! This is to say nothing of all the insightful panels and the vast artist and merchandise showroom.
Perhaps the coolest aspect of Salt Lake Comic Con though, is the Cosplay! Some of the best Cosplay I’ve ever seen, in fact! Browse through the photo gallery and take a peek at our Salt Lake Comic Con Vlog and you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about!
It’s my hope that Salt Lake Comic Con will continue to evolve. They’ve already one upped the San Diego Con by offering up multiple phone charging stations and plenty of power outlets, and quite frankly, this particular Con is incredibly easy to navigate through. If the studios start showing up with bad ass sizzle reels, then the sky’s the limit.
For the time being, this is a great Con and I will continue to attend.
