10 Action/Adventure Movies to Watch in Quarantine: *As a clarification, this is not my top 10 favorite film list for this/or any category. This list is compiled of the movies that are currently available to stream on the most popular streaming services; Amazon Prime, Hulu, and Netflix. Some are favorites, for sure. But the list was limited by what is available to stream online.

Action/Adventure is a very broad category and there were many I could have included in this list but didn’t due to time. But here’s action/adventure.

MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: FALLOUT (PG-13)

MISSION IMPOSSIBLE, as most people know, is a franchise with many movies spanning many years. However, this one could be watched as a stand-alone. I personally have seen very few MISSION IMPOSSIBLE movies and never in chronological order. This one I saw as a stand-alone and still enjoyed the story and adventure. Ethan Hunt and his team are in a race against time after a mission gone wrong.

MARVEL MOVIES (PG-PG-13)

If you have Disney Plus and/or Netflix, then you have access to a great franchise of movies. This last fall, I decided to go through and watch all the Marvel live-action films in chronological order. There is some dispute among Marvel fans as to the correct order of the movies. However, watching all of them in order was a fun challenge and would be a good way to kill time in quarantine.

INDIANA JONES SERIES (PG-13)

This media franchise is the adventures of Dr. Henry Walton “Indiana” Jones, Jr. A professor if archaeology, Jones throughout the different films finds himself in pursuit of the Holy Grail, asked to find a mystical stone, and to find the Ark of the Covenant.

BUMBLEBEE (PG-13)

Bumblebee, a transformer, is on the run and takes refuge in a junkyard in California where he is discovered by a young 18-year-old trying to find her place in the world

OUTLAW KING (R)

OUTLAW KING follows the true story of Robert the Bruce fight of bravery to defeat the much larger army of England.

007 SERIES (PG-PG-13)

SCOTT PILGRIM VS THE WORLD (PG-13)

In order to win the heart of his new girlfriend, Scott Pilgrim must defeat her seven evil exes.

NATIONAL TREASURE (PG)

Historian, Benjamin Gates is in a race to find the Templar Treasure before a team of mercenaries.

THE MASK OF ZORRO (PG-13)

Seeking revenge for his brother’s death, a thief is trained by the once great Zorro.

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES (PG)

A gang of criminals is on the rise in New York City and with the help of April O’Neal, a reporter, four teenage mutant ninja turtles try to protect the city from the terrible gang.
