THE LAST JEDI TEASER TRAILER AND POSTER UNVEILED AT STAR WARS FAN CELEBRATION!

Well, we all knew it was coming but that made it no less exciting! Attendees at Star Wars Fan Celebration in Florida were treated to a STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI presentation today. On hand for the festivities; Kathleen Kennedy, Rian Johnson, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Mark Hamill, and Kelly Marie Tran. Josh Gad moderated the proceedings and this made for a fun bit of banter, particularly when it came to the extending of his social media badgering session with Ridley.
At the end of the day, the panel was playful and insightful and as expected, the energy in the room was palpable. How could it not be when the big question leading into Star Wars Fan Celebration was; Would Team The Last Jedi drop a trailer at the shindig?
Of course, they did! They dropped a breathtaking one sheet for the movie too!
How’s the trailer? Well, I’m still trying to get past the obvious elation I’m feeling so that I can process this thing like a rational human being. The truth is though, once Luke started speaking in this trailer (his closing line in particular pierced my heart), I lost all rational train of thought.
It should be noted that this is a tease but what’s most striking about it–aside from the color, the badass looking spacecrafts, and other worldly but very tactile locations– is that it’s clear that Johnson has created something that is very much his own all while honoring the STAR WARS legacy.
It’s a bummer that we have to wait until December 15th to see this movie in its entirety but it should also be noted that the wait and all this undeniable anticipation is all part of the fun!
I said it before and I’ll say it again; This is a great time to be a STAR WARS fan!
