Kenneth Lonergan’s MANCHESTER BY THE SEA was all the rage at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. That probably explains why I couldn’t get into a screening. I tried 4 separate times throughout the 10 day fest! In all the 22 years I’ve been attending Sundance, I’ve always had tremendous luck when it comes to getting into desired film screenings. Not this year, though. I simply could not get into this particular movie. Am I bitter about it? Yeah… A little bit. Attendees were going on and on about how great this movie was! To call MANCHESTER BY THE SEA a hot ticket at Sundance would be a gross understatement. Thankfully, in just a few months, we’ll all get to see it. While we anxiously wait, this exceptional trailer will have to tide us over. Casey Affleck, Michelle Williams, and Kyle Chandler look positively fantastic in this!
