“EPISODE VII” GETS AN OFFICIAL TITLE!

IS THE FORCE STRONG WITH THIS ONE?

It seems only fitting that J.J. Abrams and Disney officially unveil the name of STAR WARS EPISODE VII the same week Christopher Nolan’s sci-fi epic INTERSTELLAR hits theaters.

What’s the title?

STAR WARS EPISODE VII: THE FORCE AWAKENS

Simple and to the point and while it isn’t particularly flashy, it’s far less silly than THE PHANTOM MENACE and ATTACK OF THE CLONES.

With EPISODE VII having just wrapped principal photography, Abrams and crew now begin the lengthy post production process so that they can meet the December 2015 release date. Might we see a teaser trailer anytime soon? Disney isn’t saying but my guess is they’ll hold it for the big STAR WARS Celebration Convention in Anaheim next spring.
