CINEMAST.NET INVITES YOU TO MEET OUR CREW AND LEARN ABOUT OUR VERY SIMPLE PLAN!
Simply put, Cinemast.net was designed as a means to spread the love of film. We’re located in Saint George, UT, but don’t let the southern Utah home base fool you. While we’re not out of L.A., New York, or a massive metropolitan area, we still love what we do unconditionally. Curating the best in film and generating cinematic buzz is of the utmost importance to us. In short, we love movies! We can’t get enough of them!
ADAM MAST—Co-Founder, Head Writer, Editor
Adam Mast has been a film lover ever since his parents took him to see JAWS at the ripe age of 6. He’s been a writer for southern Utah’s The Independent since 1996 and enjoyed a healthy writing stint with Zboneman.com for 15 years. In addition to The Independent, he currently performs day to day duties at Cinemast.net and serves as co-host of the St. George News produced online movie review show, “Film Fanatics.” Mast is also a filmmaker. He’s written and directed several short films and co-produced a feature length thriller called “Lay Me Down to Sleep” for writer/director Jeff Sanders. Mast is also a champion of home grown filmmaking. This led him to spearhead southern Utah’s increasingly popular “Guerilla Filmmaking Challenge” back in 2005. Along with this quick turnaround filmmaking showcase, Mast hosts several film related events including “Horror-Fest,” a Halloween inspired shindig that’s been going strong since 2001. Mast currently resides in southern Utah with his wife Tonja and their four amazing children.
JOHN PUGH—Co-Founder, Content Developer, Writer, Videographer, Producer
John Pugh has an insatiable appetite for all things film and it goes back as far as he can remember. He and Mast have been friends for years and it was Pugh who suggested a partnership with the end goal of bringing Cinemast.net to fruition. In addition to his day-to-day duties as Cinemast content developer and writer, Pugh is also a filmmaker with several award winning short films to his credit. Like Mast, Pugh can’t imagine a world without film and he wants to share that love and passion with cinephiles the world over. Pugh currently lives in northern Utah with his wife Briana and their two wonderful children.
SHELDON DEMKE—Producer, Photographer, Videographer
Sheldon Demke is a long time lover of film and in addition to his charismatic, charming nature his jack-of-all-trades sensibility has led to a number of reputable film-related jobs. He currently serves as a highly regarded staff member at St. George News where he co-hosts a weekly series called TGIF. He also serves as producer on the St. George News presented online series, “Film Fanatics.” As expected, Demke is also an accomplished filmmaker having made several short films and serving as Producer on the feature length documentary, “Children of Conflict” for Bernadette Brady and Ryan Pederson, and the feature length thriller “Lay Me Down to Sleep” for Jeff Sanders. Demke currently resides in southern Utah where he enjoys a life full of cinematic adventure.
